What information does PC Forge collect?

To further assist us with your inquiries or orders , we may be required to ask for the following information from you:

• Name(s) and Address(s)

• Contact Information i.e. Phone Number(s) and Email Address(s)

• Photo ID(s) i.e. Drivers License or a valid Passport or NZ 18+ Card

What do you use the information for?

We may use this information to further our dealings with you regarding any products or goods transacted with the customer. Please see our Terms and Conditions page for more information. Your ID may not be required unless you are personally coming to our store to collect as to ascertain you are the correct person to pick up the order. We may take a copy of provided identification.

 

Who else can access this information?

The collected information can only be viewed by specified PC Forge employees only. The level of information available to view is limited only to deal with inquiries and orders. You information may be provided in cases of RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) in the event that you require a repair or replacement of purchased goods. We may disclose aggregated shopper statistics, but none of these statistics will contain any information about identifiable customers and their individual shopping habits.

Can you refuse to provide information?

You have the right as a consumer to refuse to provide requested information, however PC Forge may not be able to proceed with the transaction if the information is required to complete the transaction.

Storage of personal information

The safety of your personal information may be a concern to you, however we take the protection of our customers' information very seriously and store data in protected and encrypted systems. We recommend not to disclose any account information to anyone unless otherwise advised by a PC Forge personnel and only in person. PC Forge will never request your information through messaging or calls.

Policy on changing personal information

You are able to access and change personal account information held by PC Forge in the "My Account" area. However, to change personal information provided to us via a third party in connection with the use of social media functionality (such as Facebook or Google logins), you will need to update your details or privacy settings with that provider.
